File cabinet for the Walnut executive desk
I have finally finished the file cabinet that goes with the bookshelf and Walnut executive desk. I am still committed to building a dry bar to go with this office suite, but that will come later this year. The drawers are made of solid cherry with Walnut bottoms, and the case is made of Walnut plywood and solids. This is my first time working with cherry. I really like the looks of it. I will probably start using it for drawers in future projects. It is very stable and cuts/chisels very well. This piece just about clears out my shop so I can get ready to start a large library shelving project. I am not accepting orders for at least 3 months.
