Here is the TV stand about half done. I am making it about 8 to 10 inches higher than a conventional flat screen stand. This way it could be used as a wall console for one of our kids/grand kids someday when we are gone. I am using tombstone openings and ogee bracket feet to resemble antique consoles that I have seen. I wanted to utilize the heart wood (light wood) in the walnut as opposed to just continuous dark grain walnut that’s usually the norm in walnut furniture. Two drawers will be in the middle bottom, one adjustable shelf in the middle above the drawers and a shelf in each side Post 4 should be next week with the drawers and end columns. I am going to glue up the top next week also.
