The gigantic Library bookshelf part 4
My garage/shop space is slowly disappearing with the creation of the library bookshelf system, but I am finally starting to see the end. I got the entire east wall and 2 pieces of the North wall stained now awaiting the first clear coat.
In the foreground you can see the beginning of the library ladder I cut out yesterday. Today I worked on getting the ladder together. It is dry fit at the moment. I’ll take it apart again, finish sand , stain then glue it together.
It will have wheels and hangers that hang on rails attached to the bookcase when finished. I had a chance to play with my lathe again turning the top rung.
